Palace confirms resignation of PCO senior undersecretary Ana Puod

Malacañang on Tuesday said Presidential Communications Office Senior Undersecretary Analisa "Ana'' Puod has resigned from her post. Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro confirmed this during a press briefing. In a copy of her letter seen by GMA News Online, Puod said her resignation was based on the ''untenable condition'' within the current leadership of the PCO. She thanked President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. for the trust and confidence he had reposed on her and for the opportunity to be of service to the Marcos administration. ''In the short period that I have been with PCO I have gained much appreciation with your sincere and kind leadership, anchored on your genuine vision for better, greater Filipino nation,'' Puod said.
